The passing of Carole Thurgood Garlitz (Layton, Utah) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thurgood and Mary Charlton; her brother Dennis Thurgood; and her grandson Dacota Case. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald Thurgood (Bobbie), Connie Wright and Stephen Thurgood (MaryLynn); and her children, Teresa Himmelberger (Gordon), Stephen Garlitz (Lorna), Dale Garlitz (Alica), Alicia Van Egeren (Quentin), Stacy Roberts (Ryan) and Greg Garlitz (Marcy). She is also survived by children, she enjoyed 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridgecreek Ward Meeting House (901 W Stone Brook Ln, Layton, UT 84041).
