It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Kurtz of Kanab, Utah, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell L. Kurtz and Betty B. Kurtz; his son Jimmy; and his brother Gary L. Kurtz. He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Gable; his significant other Marilyn Smith; his children, Cheryl Gilbride of Atascadero, Robin Coleman (Darrin) of Kanab, Utah and Dean Kurtz of St. George, Utah; his siblings-in-law, Bill Smith (Michelle) of Fredonia, Arizona and Amanda Kurtz of Valencia, California; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Briana, Connor, Aidan, Richel, Nick, Josh, Austin, McKenna and Jarrin. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
