He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Dale Abrams and Allene Fairchild Abrams; his siblings, Fred Abrams and Phyllis Abrams; his son Christopher Abrams; and his adoptive son Mike Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Abrams; his son Tom Abrams; his stepchildren, Michelle Svedin and Chris Jackson; his adoptive sons, Ken Conte, Tom Hardbaugh and Matt Anderson; his grandchildren, Candice, Madison, Lacey Lyons, Elvis, Layla Conte, Bella, Hailey Hardbaugh, Logan, Maia Anderson, Sarah Nelson and Jake Henderson; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Eliana Nelson.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in David's memory to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
