He was predeceased by: his parents, Khalil Salim and Phoebe Batshone Halteh; his granddaughter Olivia; and his pet Pasha. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Jane Lynch; his children, Bambi Patterson (Brad), Bonnie El Halta, Rebecca Hales (Eric), David El Halta (Heidi), Bethany El Halta (Jennifer Flynt) and Sam El Halta (Mandy); and his sister Leila.
