He is survived by: his spouse Merilyn "Sunnie" Toone Nelson; his children, Michael R. (Marie), Kris Eden (Tim) and Eric N. (Christine); and his brothers, Elden A. (Joyce) and Ruel A. (Jean). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
