He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Mitchell and Arvilla Mitchell; his parent-in-law Terry Ruth; his grandson Brandon Mitchell; and his siblings, Joyce Tanner and Paul Mitchell.
He is survived by: his close friend Janice Webb; his wife Janice; his sister Connie Jensen (Clyde); and his children, Mike (DeAnne), Glen (John), Todd (Amy), Kim Simmons (Scott) and Kari Moe (Tony). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
