He is survived by: his wife Mila Alconcel Nelson; his children, Ed Nelson (Julie), Krista Haws (Jacob), Ammon Nelson and Jeremy Nelson; his brothers, Paul Nelson (Kathy) and Mark Nelson (Dee); his brother-in-law Hansel Naluai; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Kaufman, Robert Jackson, Scott Jackson, Diana Smith, Russell Jackson and Derek Jackson. He is also survived by his extended family including his many grandchildren.
