He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thurman and Christa Thurman; his siblings, Robert A. Thurman, Mary Kester (Jack), Norma Bergloff (Clayton), Carol Schneider (Andrew) and Arletta Sibley (Charles); and his granddaughter Rebecca Thurman.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Thurman; his children, Krista Brimhall (Gordon), Calene Thurman (Joi), Bret Thurman (Debbie), Scott Thurman and Mark Thurman; and his brother Elliott Thurman (Carol). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
