He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hyrum Maylin Jr. and Evelyn Mae Barnes; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Rusch, David Christensen and Edward Christensen; and his nephew Jason Scott Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Maylin; his children, Tammy Duncan, Jared Maylin (Mandie), Leslie and Nick Pead; and his siblings, Patricia Gabaldon, Carolyn Rusch, Joseph Maylin (Diane) and Brent Maylin (Julie). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
