He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arnell Walker and Lucile Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Holmstead; and his children, Allyn Grosjean (late Micheal), Kerry Done (late Mike), Scott (Liz), Stuart (Nga) and Marian Norton (Gerard).

He was called to be a Scoutmaster in Midvale and was in scouting for most of his adult life and was awarded the Silver Beaver for his contribution to scouting.
