She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elmo Gillies and Jeneva Shipp Gillies; her husband David Robert McDowell; her daughter Karen Burt; her granddaughters, Nicole and Danielle; and her sisters, Shirley Rockwood and Deanna Wentz.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Taylor, Kelly Taylor and Kristi Laursen (Steve); and her brother Bonner Gillies. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
