He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Nannie; his former wives, Dorothy Lynne Koldewyn (Dody) and Dody; his friend Betty Gould; his wife Betty; his children, Douglas (Nida), Scott (Sandra), Kelly, Mark (Candace), Julie Beaujeu (Jeff), Charee (Peter) and Camille Jorgensen (Brian); and his stepchildren, Lynne Venable (Andy), Curtis Hollis (Yolanda) and Nancy Tippets (Tracy). He was also cherished by 33 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
