He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Baacke and Emily Peters Baacke; his wife Elfie Baacke; and his siblings, Lorena Franke, Bernice Arnecke, Garland, Milton, Virgil, Hayden and Alois Baacke.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Allison (Gerald); his granddaughter Joslyn Hensley (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaleb Hensley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
