It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Johnston (Yantis, Texas), born in Eunice, New Mexico, who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, James Lackey, Robert Lackey and Pete Peterson; and her granddaughter Shayann Johnston. She is survived by: her spouse Pete; her sons, Roy Dan Johnston (Connie) of Yantis, TX and Donnie Johnston (Teresa) of Canadian, TX; her sisters, Delores Teague (Doug), Judy Van Arsdale (Tom) and Nellie Jo Varley; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Savage, Brandi Dunn, Bryan Johnston and Brady Johnston. She is also survived by her parents; loving husband.
