It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Parks of Woodville, Texas, born in San Diego, California, who passed away at the age of 77, on August 29, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. L. Minter and Billie Edna Minter; her husband James O. Parks; her son Rayford Parks; and her grandsons, Damon Ratcliff and Seth Parks.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Parks of Colmesneil, Texas, Susan O'Quinn (John) of Kountze, Janis Davis (Lynn) of Jasper, Texas and Mandy Parks of Jasper, Texas; her brother Wayne Minter of Ivanhoe, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jessica Byerly (Josh), Shelby Patrizi (Thomas), Dereck Davis (Taylor), Keaton Parks, Tyler Parks (Maddy), Quinn Parks, Jocelyn O'Quinn and Braelyn Payne. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
