It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Courtney of Woodville, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Alto Hendon and Sarah Lee Jordan; and her grandson Justin Kincaid Phillips. She is survived by: her husband J. W. Courtney of Doucette, Texas; her children, Garry Courtney (Myndi) of Woodville, Jessie Courtney of Woodville, Travis Deavers of Jasper, Texas and Christina Phillips (Matt) of Colmesneil, Texas; her brothers, Jack Hendon (Helen) of Livingston, Fred Hendon of Livingston and Al Hendon (Wendy) of Massachusetts; her siblings-in-law, Leo Courtney (Cathy) of Doucette, Texas and Mary Ling (DeWayne) of Doucette, Texas; and her sisters, Kitty Stoddard (Glen) of Massachusetts and Kaffy Fontenot (Randy) of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
