He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Evans and Magdalene Evans; his brother James "Sonny" Evans; his sisters-in-law, Pat Evans and Mollie Coward; and his nephew Todd Evans.
He is survived by: his spouse Melissie Jane Conner; his children, Homebuilders, Kelly Jane Meriwether (Mike) of Nederland and Gregory Wayne Evans (Theresa) of Deweyville; his grandchildren, Ryan "Bo" Wortham (Krystal) of Groves, Jacob Wortham (Kaleigh) of Nederland, Kaitlyn Collins (Dennis) of Nederland and Trevor Meriwether of Port Neches; his siblings, Richard Evans (Pat), Steve Evans (Robbie) and Sadie Greer (Bobby); his brother-in-law Demp Conner (Ginger); and his uncle Jiggs. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and their children.
