She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Ashford and May Nelia Henry Yelton; her husband Jerry Michael Jones; and her siblings, Bill Yelton, Elva Ratcliff and Betty Sanderson.
She is survived by: her son Paul Thomas Nanney of Galveston; her sisters, Rose Barber of Dam and Lydia Erb of New Caney, Texas; her grandchildren, Paul Wilbur Nanney, Laura Martinez, Michael Nanney, Angela Lynch, William Nanney, Elizabeth Rocha, Carla Rocha and Brenda Perez; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Lynch, Emma Lynch, Lorena Martinez and Selena Martinez.
