She was predeceased by: her parents, Loucille Collier and Irma Collier; her siblings, Ed Stone Collier and Martha Collier; her husband James Shields; and her daughter Cindy Shields Rukab.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Hirsch (Dr), Hirsch Shields of Trinity and Carol Sue Shields of Woodville; and her granddaughter Holly Hirsch of San Marcos.
