With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Beatrice Alaniz of Wichita Falls, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Beatrice left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Beatrice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beatrice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Alaniz; and her siblings, Gloria, Angelina and Joe Mendez. She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Silva (Lydia), Bennie "Jake" Silva and Joe Alaniz Jr. (Angie); and her niece Theresa "Teddy" Morelos. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Chapel (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Crestview Memorial Park (1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302).
