She is survived by: her children, Chesley Darvin Auten (Barbara), Joyce Hill (Jimmy) and Clifford Auten (Annette) of Whitney; her grandchildren, Tracy Brightwell of Whitney, Lucretia Price (Joe) of Whitney, Eric Auten of Whitney, Kara Sneed (Jason) of Whitney, Kristopher Auten (Kathy) of Whitney, Suzanne Sessums (Jimmy) of Cleburne, Clinton Auten (Carrie) of Fort Worth and Kevin Auten of San Antonio; and her siblings, Charles Overton (Eileen), Celia of Whitney, Polly of Whitney and Caperton of Whitney.
