He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clayton Comer and Alice Claire Eppard-Comer; his wife Norma Davidson-Comer; and his sisters, Nancy and Harryette Patrick.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Comer of Stephenville, Melonie Comer-West (Bill) of Whitney and Rob Comer of Pensacola, Florida; his grandchildren, Will West of Stephenville, Kanen West of Whitney and Chris Moss (Hannah Richardson) of Waco; his great grandchild Casen Moss of Waco; his close friend Keith Crawford of Ecuador; and his sister Charlotte Dison of Kingsport, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations can be accepted to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children Hospital and Shriner's Hospital for Children.
