He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Nix and Rosa Nix (Long); and his wife Mona Nix. He is survived by: his children, Ricky D. Nix of Whitney Texas, Bettye J. Nix of Whitney Texas, Nicky D. Nix of Whitney Texas and Terry D. Nix of Whitney Texas; and his brother Dale Nix of Brownwood, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great children and great-great grandchildren.
