He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Donald Starr and Olive Elizabeth Duxbury Starr; and his brothers, Donald John Starr and Merlin Dwight Starr. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Springfield; his wife Patsy Starr; his daughter Tammi Starr Lesczynski (Brian); his pets, Maya, Maggie and Stephanie Starr Anker (Eric); his grandsons, James Cain and Christian Anker (Kathleen); and his son Horacio Tavares, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
