Jim Miller wrote a sympathy message

“My sincere condolences to Jerry’s family. He was a true friend whom I had the pleasure of knowing for over 50 years through the utilities construction industry when I called on while h was working for his brother, CR, and then later when he started his own company. We had lots of fun times dove hunting and bass fishing together. He was also a fellow Masonic brother. Rest In Peace dear friend and know that you will be missed.”
