It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Orene Hawkins in Whitney, Texas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Cash and Lorene Cash; her siblings, Kenneth Cash Jr. and Pat Goldman; her daughter Judith Ann Price; her grandsons, Bobby Hightower and Brandon Hightower (Johnny Huggins); her niece Janet Turner; and her great-nephew Brian Young.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin McKay; her children, Rebecca Rankin (Tim) of Lawn, Texas and Marty McKay (Rhonda) of Whitney; her grandchildren, Chad Price (Regina) of Grandview, Donald "Putter" Price (Becca) of Whitney, Belinda Huggins of Whitney, Brandy Hightower of Whitney, Derrek Escobedo of Whitney, Deanna Hightower of Whitney, Krissi Hightower of Whitney, Brenda Bright of Whitney, Christy Lindeman of Whitney and Tara Lockhart (Ryan) of Arlington; her great grandchildren, Payton, Braden, Shady of Angel, J. T, Kati, Johnathan, Jacob, Dillon, Bailee, Dawson, Gage, Kena, Zack, Leslie, Brianna, Laiten, Logun, Holden, Gentry and Landry; and her nieces and nephews, Nancy Young (Tuffy) of Tuckerman, Sandy Goldman of Remmel, Leann Sutterfield of Newport, Douglas Cash of Newport and Danny Cash (Jackie) of Brandon Florida. She is also survived by 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.
