He is survived by: his son Paul Sims (Donna) of Whitney; his grandchildren, Allyson Cliett (Rory) of Whitney, Kristen Miller (Chris) of Whitney, Kari Sims of Whitney and Josh Sims (Cara) of South Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Carson Miller, Ethan Sessums, Kennedy Cliett, Mary Katherine Sims, Ivy Sims, Hill Sims, Liza Sims and Helen Sims.
