He is survived by: his wife Betty Higginbotham; his sister Barbara Grice (Fred) of Corsicana; his children, Keri Robin (Gary) of Vidor, Ssgt James Higginbotham, Shara Borden, Mark Ayers (Annette) of Whitney and April McKinney of Whitney; and his grandchildren, Jamie Kidder, Luke Cooper, Kelli Moore, Joshua Borden, Brittany Rosenoff, Nicholas Higginbotham, Katherine Sterling, Houston Higginbotham, Abigail Ayers, Madeline Justus and Macy McKinney.
