He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frazier and Lola Irene Latham Carpenter; his wife Crystal "Christy" Smith; his brother Gerald Carpenter; his brothers-in-law, George York and Don Smith; and his pet Cheech.
He is survived by: his son Justin; his daughter-in-law Brandi Carpenter; his pets, Madden and Maci; his siblings, Jimmy Carpenter, Linda York, Donald (Valinda Carpenter) and Floyd (Marsha Carpenter); and his sister-in-law Betty Jones. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
