She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Alexander Garner Jr. and Gladys Elizabeth Newcomer; her husband Jeffrey Turner; her brother Fred Alexander Garner III; and her daughter-in-law Tisha Turner.

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Hamilton and Jason P. Turner; her grandchildren, Julie Helms (Curtis), Alexis Turner (Joseph Cedillo) and Jake Turner; her great grandchildren, Bailey Helms (Cade Pickens), Blake Helms (Lani Harlin), Abigayle Helms, David Helms and McKynli Cedillo; her great great grandchild Amelia Pickens; and her sister-in-law Yael Garner.
