He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Arnold and Evelyn Arnold (Pratt); his siblings, Helen Tabbi, Elizabeth Reed and Richard Arnold; and his sons, Jon Arnold and Denny Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife June Arnold; and his children, Jody Lynn Bell, Elton Fowler and Cynthia Gant. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; a plethora of great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
