With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Gene Ryan of Whitney, Texas, born in Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erman E Ryan and Zelda C Ryan (Rains); his sister Betty Jo Dial; his grandmother Eula Banks; and his siblings-in-law, Kenny Head and Cathy Head.
He is survived by: his friend Billy Gene Ryan; his wife Gwen Y Ryan (Head); and his children, Robert Ryan (Charlotte), Debora Hill (Terry Hill), Jack Ryan (Betty Ryan), Peggy Powell (John Powell) and James Ryan (Carol Ryan). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
