She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wellington and Charlotte Thompson (Tucker); her daughter Teresa "Terry" Sample; and her siblings, John Thompson, Alvin Thompson and Harriot Thomspon.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Sample; her daughter Wendy Lee Sample; and her aunt Charlotte Travis (Tim). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
