It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesus H. Cavazos (Weslaco, Texas), who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jesus H. Cavazos to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortunato Cavazos and Ventura Herrera Cavazos. He is survived by: his wife Maria C. Cavazos; his brother Aniceto H. Cavazos of Mercedes, TX.; his children, Digna Cavazos Weems (James), Diana Cavazos Rivera (John), David Cavazos (Elilah), Dahlia Castillo (Richard), Maria, Carmen II (late John Ulloa) and Margie Cavazos (Biltrand Andrews); his grandchildren, Daniella Marquez (César), Amanda Cavazos Weems (Gabriel Rodriguez), Elle Cavazos, Michael Weems, Nathan Castillo, Ashley Nohavitza (Scott), Nicholas Castillo, Javier Cavazos Weems, Biltrand Andrews, Jr. and Breanna Andrews; his great grandchildren, César Jesus Marquez and Ford Jarrell Nohavitza; and his caregiver Glenda Mooney. He is also survived by six children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and his youngest.
