It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Delores Ashton of Webster, Texas, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Anna Ruffin Brown, Ada Harris Johnson, Julius Groves and Effie Evans Groves; her parents, Wilbert August and Velma Groves Lee August; her siblings, Clem Carter, Jr., Kenneth Carter, Wilbert August, Jr. and Bruce August, Sr.; her nephew Clem Carter III; and her brother-in-law Wayne Sneed.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Ashton Sr.; her children, Sakeena Price (Shawn), Joe Ashton Jr. (Catena), LeAntoinette Ashton and LeAnthony Ashton Sr. (Montresor); her grandchildren, Jordan-Dominque Ashton, Jordan Price, Jazmin-Nicole Ashton, Vincent Price, KeyAnna Price, Kiarra Ashton, Joe Ashton III, Mya Ashton, LeAnthony Ashton, Jr. and Joshua Ashton; her great grandchild Olivia Mike; her siblings, Brenda August Sneed, Latonia August and Terrie Lynn Leigh; her siblings-in-law, Shawn Carter, Beverly Carter, Kathy Jo August, Jessie Smith, Lillian Scott, Napoleon Ashton and William Ashton; and her aunt Eunice Groves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
