He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Hamilton and Madeline Hamilton; his brother William Ronald Hamilton; his brother-in-law Thomas Birch (Suzanne Britain); and his children, Vivian Pipkins and Bruce Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sister Gail Hamilton Williams (Tom); his nephew Michael; his children, Brian Hamilton (Kim), Marianna Muzquiz (Art), Scott Hamilton (Lisa) and Sarah Hamilton (Douglas); his former wife Diane Hamilton; his sister-in-law Betty Hamilton; and his nephews, Richard and Steven. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
