She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Chatmon Sr. and Hester Mae Henderson Chatmon of Galveston, Texas.; her husband Robert Van McClintock Sr.; and her child Terry De'mon. She is survived by: her children, Ray, Bibi Taymullah (Harambee), Renee McCintock Scott of Austin, Texas, Raymond McClintock (Darlene) of Austin and Robert Van McClintock Jr. of Houston, Texas; her godson Charles Ellis Jr.; her siblings, Deanna Caldwell of Galveston, Texas, Thomas Chatmon Jr. of Galveston and Norman Lee Chatmon of Seatle, Washington; and her grandchildren, Floyd, Damita Taymullah, Oneida (OJ), Treliscia McClintock, Kenny, Koree Scott, Robin, Candice, Robert, Jacqulyn McClintock, Charles Ray, Sherman, Terry Jr. and LaKil McClintock. She is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
