He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnie Plott and Ellen Ruth Plott; and his sister Brenda Plott. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Schwertner; his grandsons, Jordan and Caleb Schwertner; his wife Adriana Maranto; his stepchildren, Haydee Miller, Rafael Maranto, Melissa Maranto, Jorge Maranto, Amy Jo Cantrell and Steven Chambers; his children, Joe Miller, Jianely Maranto, Martin Haviland and Jill Maranto; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Emily, Alana, Erika, Niko, Zelda, Elora and Sofia; his stepmother Thomasina Plott; and his half-sister Barbara Jo Herr.
