With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vella A Blades of Weatherford, Texas, born in Celina, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vella A Blades to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. McWilliams and Maurine McWilliams (Meachum); and her husband Selby "Rusty" Blades, Jr.. She is also survived by her four children, along with their spouses; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Vella's memory to the Parkinson Foundation.
