It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Stanley McWhorter (Weatherford, Texas), born in Wolfforth, Texas, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben McWhorter and Thelma McWhorter (Collins); and his granddaughter Mandi McWhorter. He is survived by: his wife Ila Mae McWhorter (Anderson) of Brock, Texas; his son Doug; his daughter-in-law Sharon McWhorter; his son Roland McWhorter; his grandchildren, Ryan (Brittney McWhorter) and Nicole (Drew Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Phoenix McWhorter, Penelope McWhorter and Lantana Bailey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Parker County Center of Hope.
