It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Elizabeth Mercer (Weatherford, Texas), born in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Fidel Olivares, Jr.; and her siblings, Belinda Wilson, Blanca Williams and Gustavo Olivares. She is survived by: her mother Odilia Olivares (Bustamante); her children, J. R., Jimmy Roy Mercer (Kayla Lucus) and Amy Mercer (Jeff Owens); her grandsons, Kayson Kite and Jaxson Tucker; and her brothers-in-law, Nate Wilson and Jerry Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
