He is survived by: his wife Joannie Atkinson; his children, Brad Atkinson (Paige) and Jennifer Atkinson Cain (John); his grandchildren, Elijah, Seth, Simon and Eleanor Cain; his sister Renee Atkinson Belt (David); his father-in-law Rex Jehlen; his brother-in-law Charlie Jehlen (Sheri); and his friend Wayne Newsom (Marina).
