He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Powell and Libby Powell; and his brothers, Albert Powell, Cletus Powell, Garland Powell and Clifford Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Powell; his daughter Susan Daniel (Jason); his brother Everet Powell; and his granddaughter Alison Daniel. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
