It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William L. Mears in Waco, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Lee Mears and Mary Ruth Anderson; his brother Tom Mears; his sister-in-law Harlene Mears; his sister Karen Mears; and his daughter Penny Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Mears; his stepmother Sheila Mears; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Debbie Mears; his stepsister Sheila Mears; and his daughters, Jennifer (Jesse Weaver), Charlotte (David Doran), Cheryl (Tom Crenshaw) and Jamie (Marc Montgomery). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren (4) and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
