She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Rickart Schneider and Carl Schneider; her husband Oscar Hoffmeyer, Jr.; her sister Anna Belle Tipton; and her niece Billie Joy Evans.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) of Colleyville and Lindy (Cody) of Lewisville.
Per her wishes, her body has been donated to the Willed Body Program of UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Foundation of Waco.
