It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Anderson Oropeza of Victoria, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Dan Hobizal and Gloria Ann Hobizal (Tvrdik); her former husband William "Bo" Anderson; and her friend Rueben Ludwig. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Oropeza; her daughter Amanda Anderson Castor (Mario); her grandchildren, Bridgette and Maverick; her son James "Bubba" Anderson (Larissa Brenk); her grandchildren, Bo, Savannah and Blythe; her daughter Tara Oropeza; her grandchildren, Kierstin and Michael "Mikey"; her children, Christopher Oropeza (Deyanira) and Calliope; her brother Carl Hobizal (Candy); her children, Brandy Martinez, Keith and Cayce Hobizal; her nieces and nephews, Ryder, Brigham, Slade and Poppy; her parents-in-law, Fortino Oropeza and Shirley Curi; her sister Becky; her brother-in-law Ronald Engbrock; and her nieces, Sherri and Melissa. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
