He is survived by: his wife Alice C. Olvera; his children, Joseph A. Wilburn (Cynthia), Jim A. Sosa (Elizabeth) and Jo Ann Cantu; and his siblings, Ramiro Olvera (Lala) and Emma Vasquez (Carlos). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
