She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter David and Ophelia Cartwright Burrus Swickheimer; and her sister Sara Mays. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Phelps and Laura Archer (Doug); her grandchildren, Katherine, Christina and Will; and her nieces and nephews, Tom Mays, James Phelps, Robin Rackley and Mary Ellen Glanz.
