She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Mae Hoodye and Calvin Strother; and her siblings, Carolyn Wallace (Robert) and Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Marion Kuykendall; her children, Cheborah "Shay" Ross (Lee), Marion Jr. Kuykendall (Melinda) and Ebony Jackson (Rodney); her stepchildren, Sherry Stokes and William Johnson; her siblings, Anthony Strother (Brenda), David Elazer, Sherry Peters, Lynn Jones, Yvonne Frost, Cheryl Roberts and Alicia Beatty; and her sister-in-law Betsy Elliot. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, her Godson, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
