With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Launder Shelton of Victoria, Texas, born in Fannin, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Shelton and Earline Shelton; his wife Clara Shelton; his daughter Teri Barfield; and his siblings, Cleveland Shelton, D. C. Shelton, David Shelton, Glenda Shelton and Lillie Mae Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Launder Shelton (Katina), Larry Barfield (Ursula), Yolanda Moraida (Mario), Kathleen Clinkscales, Sheryl Barfield and Virgie Deleon (John); and his siblings, Ephron Shelton, Michael Shelton, Ray Shelton, Pearlene Bates, Josie Price, Betty Prince, Joice Ellis, Vivian Brock and Hattie Shelton. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
